How do I stop a neighbor dog from being unleased and pooping on my property?

ultrasonic dog whistle

Sorry to the animal lovers, but it is very annoying. If you have an animal, have respect for your neighbor’s. I’ve bought the whistle, the ultrasonic bird house, called the county . Nothing seems to help. Love some sound advice.

Recorded electronic frequency oscillations

ultrasonic dog whistle

I am able to hear the following transmissions 24 hours a day. As I layed down for the evening in a quiet room, I decided to place my recorder right next to me on my pillow and see if it was sensitive enough to capture some of this phenomenon. My recording is what it was able to pick up. Note -you will need to turn up the volume to hear it well. Of interest: The microwave auditory phenomenon, or the microwave hearing effect, pertains to the hearing of short pulses of modulated microwave radiation at high peak power by humans and laboratory animals. Anecdotal and journalistic reports of the hearing of microwave pulses persisted throughout the 1940s; and 1950s. The first scientific report of the phenomenon appeared in 1961. The effect has been observed for RF exposures across a wide range of frequencies (450-3000 MHz). It can arise, for example, at an incident energy-density threshold of 400 mJ/m2 for a single 10-microsecond-wide pulse of 2450 MHz microwave energy, incident on the head of a human subject. And it has been shown to occur at an SAR threshold of 1.6 kW/kg for a single 10-microsecond-wide pulse of 2450 MHz microwave energy, impinging on the head. A single microwave pulse can be perceived as an acoustic click or knocking sound, and a train of microwave pulses to the head can be sensed as an audible tune, with a pitch corresponding to the pulse-repetition rate (a buzz or chirp). Pest Repellant

ultrasonic dog whistle

MUST HAVE PEST REPELLANT FEATURES: – Helps repel household pests by emiting waves of constantly charging ultrasonic signals that pests (like rats and cockroaches) have a difficult time adapting to. – Includes a built-in AC outlet and LED nightlight with ON/OFF switch. – Comes with red indicator light – For indoor use only – Unit diemsion: 2.675 inches L x 1.125 inches W x 3.25 inches H. – Power Consumption : 5 watts HOW THE UNIT WORKS Ultrasound/Ultrasonic sound are sound waves that are generated at a frequency too high for the human ear to hear. The human ear can hear at a sonic frequency below 20000Hz. Ultrasonic sounds have frequencies higher than 20000 Hz. Cats and dos are able to detect ultrasonic frequencies up to 27000 Hz. This unit operates above 27000 Hz and thus in most cases will not affect cats or dogs. Effectiveness of ultrasonic devices will vary depending on the severity of the infestation. In some cases, over time, certain rodents may become accustomed to the ultrasonic sound and may return to their nesting areas even in the presence of an ultrasonic product. Unclean areas will retain a strong attraction to pests despite the presence of an ultrasonic pest repellant. Ultrasonic waves cannot penetrate through floors, ceilings, walls or doors. In order to increase effectiveness of the unit, it must be placed in areas clear of obstacles. Range covers approximately 40 square-meters. Depending on the size of the room, more than one unit may be required per room

What is an effective way to deter aggressive (dangerous and attacking dogs)?

ultrasonic dog whistle

Honestly, some days I dont even feel safe walking around my own neighborhood. Dogs charge at me all of the time.
I need something that will deter them completely. Im not talking about a whistle used for training your dog to stop barking; I need something that can be used as self defense against a dangerous and attacking dog. I dont care if it harms the dog or causes serious damage (its my safety over theirs).

Pepper spray has been suggested, but im worried about not being able to aim with enough accuracy given that a dog can charge at me pretty fast. Do ultrasonic devices like the dazer 2 work for repelling aggressive dogs?
If military grade dog repellent exists, then thats what I want! What do police and postal service workers use?

By the way, dont bother suggesting therapy or revising my ethics towards the treatment of attacking dogs (if a dog attacks me, it is NOT innocent). I will not even consider these suggestions.
sure, I will just call animal control as im being mauled by a dog. No. You see by the time I discover a dog that is going to attack me, animal control or law enforcement cant respond fast enough. I need to defend myself.

Again, I dont care if the dog is aggressive by nature or by the way he was trained nor do I care about how he got off his leash in the first place. Once I am being attacked, its basic survival instincts, its kill or be killed (I dont necessarily need to kill the attacking dog, its just an expression)

Oh also, I dont like the idea of hitting the dog and relying on the force of the blow. In my experience swinging or even just carrying such a weapon can be perceived by the dog as being more threatening, making it more likely to attack.

Vampire fans, some things I wonder about vampires! I want to have the right details for my documentary!?

ultrasonic dog whistle

The blood they drink, does it have to be human blood, or could it be beef blood or pork blood which are available as waste products from the meat industry and could probably be had very cheaply?

If the victim of a vampire becomes a vampire, and each of their victims also becomes vampires, and they all have to drink blood to survive, then why are there any humans left?

If mirrors can’t reflect vampires, how do they shave or brush their teeth or tell if they got a rotten haircut?

When they turn into bats or wolves, can they be driven crazy by ultrasonic dog whistles?

Would a Jewish vampire be afraid of a Star of David?

Would a Moslem vampire be repelled by a copy of the Koran?

How would an Italian vampire react to garlic?

Richardson, my pet gopher.mov

My little richardsons ground squirrel, Richardson’s ground squirrel is found mainly in the northern states of the United States. Normally a nuisance in the wild for burrowing in farmland but they make friendly little pets in the home.
