there is no such product. You need to train your dog to go outside

My friend found it was easier to install a dog door so her dog could get out of the house if it had to go. No fooling, that dog was put up for adoption by it’s previous owner because it wasn’t housebroken, and after it learned how to use the door, it never messed in the house again.

While there are commercial sprays that can be purchased from a local pet supplies store, you’d be better off to work on training to work out the problems instead of trying to avoid the issue.

Crate the dog when you are not home or at night. Typically they will not mess in their "den". When you are with them, take them out to a certain spot, tell them to "go potty", and lots of praise and the occasional cookie when the go where you want them to.

Inside, keep an eye on them. As soon as he starts to go, a good firm "no", and immediately take him outside.

Also, is he neutered? If not, do so. Neutering will also help stop a dog from marking his territory.

Why not try spending the NEEDED TIME WITH THE DOG to TRAIN HIM where to "piss" rather then just letting it do it’s business anywhere it pleases and THEN getting mad at the DOG because you won’t get your lazy butt off the couch to take the dog outside!!!!!!!!! I’ve had dogs for over 50 YEARS and the only type they EVER went INSIDE was when they were brand new puppies brought to the house for the first time…. If you take the time to train the dog and do it CONSISTENTLY, it you should have to be asking about Smells… Unless of course this is from a dog that previously lived in the place YOU are now living in…. in THAT case, you will probably have to rip up the rugs AND the padding and replace it with all new …. NOTHING gets PEE smells and stains out of things… because it goes in through the rug, through the pad underneith and then into the FLOORING below the pad…and unless you dig down to all the levels, you won’t totally get rid of the smell.
